The chief problem I had using this product was that the liquid in the glass would tend to somehow get past the limit markers, thereby providing worthless readings. The push button reset also did not always function. I used to consider Taylor a decent company, but after using this item, my opinion is changed. If you want junk, this is it!

The alcohol-based Permacolor fades and separates, giving worthless readings. Also the high-low markers sink into the Permacolor making them useless. If you want something that just looks like a thermometer, buy this. If you want something that works, better buy something else.
